Kentucky Has It’s Best Turkey Hunting Season Since 2010

The numbers are in and Kentucky hunters harvested the most turkeys in a spring since the record-setting 2010 season, when hunters bagged 36,097 gobblers.

This season the total number of turkeys harvested came to 35,643, the second highest harvest total in Kentucky’s history.

The top producing counties were:
Ohio County - 725
Pulaski County - 653
Graves County - 623
Breckinridge County - 622
Hart County - 612

The bottom five producing counties were:
Fayette County - 70
Owsley County - 74
Woodford County - 82
Bourbon County - 90
Boyd County - 95
